Design:
Concrete's biggest advantage is that it is completely custom and versatile; it can be any size, color, shape, or texture. We will meet with you several times throughout the design and manufacturing process to provide samples and answer any questions you may have. While our work is most widely known to be used as a countertop surface we also offer custom furniture, vessel sinks, integrated vanities, spice walls, and bars.
- Color and variation: Any color can be produced in a solid, speckled, or variegated pattern. We can customize existing colors or match a paint chip or fabric.
- Edges: Concrete edges can either be formed and cast or cut and ground (like granite). Edge choices therefore depend on the availability of trim moulding. Custom edges are available.
-
Sinks and backsplashes: InConcrete countertops can accommodate all types of sinks including drop-in, undermount, apron front, and integral sinks. We can also create backsplashes of any height or shape, such as spice walls and knife magnets. Furthermore, InConcrete is a supplier of wholesale priced high quality sinks, faucets, and other components. That way we can assist you in your total design and streamline your selections, budgeting, and ordering.
Manufacturing:
InConcrete's design elements are pre-cast in our studio by local artisans, which allows for close monitoring of the curing process and greater flexibility in the style and components.
Our countertops and elements are commissioned, functional art made of natural products specifically for you. Every piece we pour is different. Just as high-quality silk, hardwood, or organic cotton have natural variances in color and texture, so will concrete. Everything from relative humidity to your pigment choices will affect each batch of concrete and the time it takes to finish. We strive for our customer’s complete satisfaction and believe it is important to allow enough time for your final design to be “tweaked” as you wish. Regardless of what stage the rest of your project is in, the sooner we can start playing with designs and working together, the more special your project will be.
Installation:
InConcrete's countertops are pre-cast and pre-finished. Therefore installation generally takes less than one day. Of course it depends on the size and number of pieces.
Cost and Warranty:
Every design concept is priced individually based on form, finish, and installation. We find our work prices comparable to high-end granite and solid surfaces. InConcrete warrantees the structural integrity of the concrete for one year after installation. The countertops will of course last a lot longer than a year, but if any problems were to occur, they would occur in the first year.
